| In this note, we study the notion of Johnson-pseudo-contractibility for Banach some algebras. As a main result, we show that in the presence of an identity Johnson pseudocontractibility is equivalent with amenability. Then we turn our attention toward investigation of Johnson pseudo-contractibility of the semigroup algebra ‘1(S), where S is a uniformly locally finite semigroup |
